Who We Are

Expressive Arts Without Borders
When I ask the question, “What can I do?” in response to what is occurring in the world, there is some movement in me. When I rephrase the question to, “What can we do?” my energy significantly increases, alive with possibility.
Expressive Arts Without Borders’s focus will be to create a network of people all over the globe, to motivate and enable the forward movement of the work of Expressive Arts. On one level, there is cross cultural work to be done. And, on another level, the arts can make tangible our bonds that exist pre-culturally: Who we are before we are acculturated and how we give what we are as Beings, a life in who we are as humans; working together as One, each with our own unique way of celebrating that Oneness.
Expressive Arts Without Borders is a place for us to come together and exchange philosophical, theoretical and practical perspectives. Together, we can co-create an ensemble of caring, creative individuals and communities. The time to manifest our potential is now.

Through expressive arts therapy, we learn to embody our unlimited source of joy. The body-mind process of expressive arts allows me to hold space to a wide variety of emotions.
Connecting with my resources, expands my capacity for joy, and allows it to be present alongside any other emotions I might experience. I am understanding that I always have the choice to embrace joy. Through Expressive Arts Without Borders, we can spread awareness about the healing power of expressive arts, creating a collective consciousness, back to our oneness.

Expressive Arts Without Borders is a global community of curious onlookers and creative seekers, catalysts, supporters and change-makers, practitioners and therapists, in love with the way through the arts, to create an inclusive and sustainable future.
I take my capacity for joy seriously in knowing that my relationship with my work in expressive arts reflects its power in the joy that the creative process brings. Together we can deepen our human capacity, meeting with the resources we hold in the heart of ourselves and our community.
